Routine Cleaning

• Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth to gently remove dust and debris.
• Use a soft-bristle brush to clean dust from crevices.
• Low-pressure compressed air may be used to remove dust from difficult-to-reach areas.
• Always wipe gently to avoid scratching the salt surface.
• Remove dust and debris using light pressure.
• Immediately remove any visible moisture from the salt surface.

Do Not Use

• Do not saturate the salt with water.
• Do not use wet cloths or sponges.
• Do not use steam cleaners or pressure washers.
• Do not spray cleaning products directly onto the salt.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Do not use bleach, ammonia, solvents, or disinfectants.
• Do not use acidic or alkaline cleaning chemicals.
• Do not apply sealers, waxes, or coatings.
• Do not pour water directly onto the salt.

Humidity & Environmental Conditions

• Maintain relative humidity below 60% whenever possible.
• Recommended ambient temperature: 60–90°F (16–32°C).
• Maintain adequate ventilation and airflow, particularly in spas, wellness areas, bathrooms, salt therapy rooms, and saunas.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to high humidity.
• Prevent standing water from accumulating near the installation.

If Condensation or Moisture Occurs

• Increase ventilation and airflow.
• Allow the salt to dry naturally.
• Wipe away excess moisture with a clean, dry cloth.
• Address moisture issues promptly.

Excessive or prolonged moisture can cause:

• Surface moisture
• Salt crystallization
• Softening of salt edges
• Accelerated wear or surface erosion

LED Lighting Maintenance

For installations with integrated LED lighting:

• Inspect the lighting system every 6–12 months.
• Verify that the LED lighting is operating properly.
• Inspect wiring connections.
• Confirm that power supplies remain dry and unobstructed.
• Disconnect power before performing any electrical maintenance.
• Electrical service and repairs should only be performed by qualified personnel.

Protect the Salt Wall

• Do not strike the salt with hard objects.
• Do not lean ladders, tools, or equipment against the salt wall.
• Keep the installation clean and dry.
• Maintain stable indoor environmental conditions.
• Conduct a visual inspection at least annually.

• Natural mineral veining
• Crystal development
• Changes in surface texture
• Small chips or natural mineral inclusions becoming more visible
